GLEN FOGEL “With You… Me”

I was commissioned by artist Glen Fogel to create a series of drawings as part of his installation “With You… Me” at JTT Gallery, NYC.

The six drawings are graphite on paper. The drawn images are approximately 5x7 inches, centered in larger sheets. They are renderings of photographs Glen took of his boyfriend while in high school. He was interested in filtering the visual record of one relationship through the eyes of another relationship, and the drawings are titled “First Love as Drawn by Second Love.”

To achieve the fine detail I wore magnifying lenses and sanded the tip of my already-tiny mechanical pencil into an even finer point.
