ART DIRECTOR & LEAD SCULPTOR

I was Lead Sculptor and Art Director for this stop-motion claymation commercial for Landrover.

The suburbs morphed into a city, forest, mountains, sea, and finally home again. Humans and animals appeared and transformed through the magic of Van Aken plasticine clay and stop-motion animation.

I led the sculptural aspects of this job, from the initial sculpture samples used in the client pitch, through leading a team of sculptors to produce all of the elements needed by the animators to bring this maximalist, hallucinogenic clay world to life.
